Just prior to the tragic events that brought devastation to Lebanon’s capital city, H&M was set to launch its newest collaboration with Sandra Mansour, a Beirut-based brand. Nearly one month on from the horrific blast, it’s estimated the explosion killed an estimated 200 people and has left 6,000 injured and damaged entire communities in Beirut. Due to the tragic event, the H&M X Sandra Mansour was postponed, but has now launched in stores and online and features a 15-piece collection which is titled ‘Fleur de Soleil’. Also to mark the launch, the Swedish high street brand is set to donate Dhs367,000 ($100,000) to the Lebanese Red Cross – a donation which will go towards helping those most affected by the blast.
