Phew, we made it, friends. We made it past the endless first month of the year, which is full of to-do lists and enthusiasm and then the real life of it all intrudes. In a way, February is the real new beginning. The deep breath. The warm welcome. The second pancake. Right here, right now, at the first of the month, I feel so filled with promise. To let the month of love guide me to showing up for the people I care the most about, including myself. To learn and amplify during Black History Month, deepening anti-racism work and using that momentum through the rest of the year. Whatever this month looks like for you, sending you love and care. ❤
